In the beginning

I guess we need to have a starting point in this mess. So, this story begins today, when we introduce the main character: a 1988 Saab 900 Convertible! It is white, 5sp, and has been sitting for a while under a cover. We tried to start the car (hence the charger) but it sounded like the starter would not want to spin the engine. I decided it was worth to put time on it anyway. I have a daily driver and it is reliable. This is mostly to play with.

Why would I want to even touch a Saab of all cars? First, that one is convertible. My first car was too and I miss that. Second, it is weird. Not a pain like modern cars, but weird in that I do not follow the mainstream kinda of weirdness. I like that. Hey, my first car was a Renault R9 convertible; doesn't that tell you enough?
